Solo exhibition by Julien van Middendorp in a gallery in the center of Prague called "Individual Thought Patterns", an idea of a more style of his work.
The style that Julien painting is abstract, painted with oil in primary colors on canvas in multiple layers and as less as possible the use of synthetics. Key themes and messages are hidden in the titles of his painting.

The Absent Gallery is a direct response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Created to help and support artists and galleries during this difficult time by providing a platform to share and promote their artwork using virtual 3d exhibitions and augmented reality technology.
The SPRING OPEN CALL invited submissions from 2D and 3D artists from all over the world. Over 1700 artworks were submitted from all corners of the globe and after careful selection 130 pieces were selected and hung in this exciting exhibition. Over 80 artists are participating in this general exhibition with work exhibited, reflecting a broad range of subject matter.

The Kerametal Business Center (original name Chemapol Building) is a business center in Bratislava at 2 Jašíkova Street, in the Ružinov district.
In this center are based many important companies, for example the Bratislava Regional Chamber of SOPK, TÜV SÜD Slovakia or KERAMETAL. Business center Kerametal joined the "OFFICE GALLERY" project in 2016. Since that time dozens of artists have exhibited their works in this gallery.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery based in Palm Springs, celebrated its 10th Anniversary with an “Open”online exhibition. An international online art competition was held in October 2020. The gallery received and judged 1 004 entries from 35 different countries.
The gallery presented the top 15 artists with awards for each media category and selected artists for Special Merit and Special Recognition awards. One of the winners is Julien van Middendorp with the painting "Space Dementia".

The online art gallery Tall Sequoia Gallery, operated from Toronto in Canada, organised in September the “Abstract MY World” Art & Photography Exhibition. This exhibition is presenting art and photography of 114 artists and photographers from 28 countries around the world.
One of the 12 award winners is Julien van Middendorp with the painting “The Fragile Art of Existence”.
Through the lens of our eye as abstract artists and photographers, we see the world differently. The world becomes shapes and colours, combinations of geometric figures and lines of different sizes and patterns, all organized in ways that, seemingly chaotic, actually speak to us.

The Spring/Summer special art exhibition, the “Created in Isolation” Online Art Exhibition, organised by Light Space & Time Art Gallery based in Palm Springs, is now posted on its website and can be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is art that was created while artists were in self-isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.
The gallery received submissions from 30 different countries and also received entries from 35 different states and the District of Columbia. Overall, 1 189 entries were judged for this art competition.
One of the winners is Julien van Middendorp with the painting "Walk of life".

The activities of the Slovak curator and gallery owner Ľudmila Pašková are slowly expanding across the borders of Slovakia. Since 2010 she has been successfully organizing exhibitions and international symposia in Slovakia and abroad.
She created the project "OFFICE GALLERY", whose main idea is to bring art to modern administrative spaces, hotels, schools, theaters, and thus bring art closer to people. The impact of art on the environment in which we spend most of the day is often underestimated today.
"I am convinced that paintings and sculptures embedded in the work environment have a positive effect on people - their mood and performance attacks - and at the same time help to open a dialogue between them," explains Ľudmila Pašková. Ľudmila Pašková, a lover of modern art, represents a large number of renowned Slovak and foreign artists.

Please accept our invitation to an exhibition featuring a selection of works by the contemporary Dutch painter Julien van Middendorp.
Julien focuses on abstraction. He finds inspiration for his works on the streets, which lends his style an organic dynamism. He works with primary colors in carefully thought-out compositions. His oil paintings captivate with their composition and vibrant colors.
He has been living and working in Prague for several years. The local cultural environment is a fresh source of inspiration for him, and in just a few days, you’ll be able to view a selection of his works created right here in Prague.
